Bleaching

• Tooth whitening refers to procedures or products that make teeth look brighter.
• Teeth can be whitened with or without bleach. Bleach products contain a peroxide agent (usually carbamide peroxide, which comes in concentrations of 10%, 16%, and 22%) to take away surface stains and underlying stains. This changes the color of the tooth.
• Bleaching can lighten the shade of your teeth usually up to 2 shades within two weeks of consistent use although results may vary from person to person.
